My work is about stillness, memory, and the quiet beauty of nature. I create paintings inspired by flowers, plants and natural shapes. Through my work, I try to capture not only what something looks like, but also the feeling it gives. A soft moment, a memory or a sense of calm.


I am drawn to silhouettes, shadows and simple forms because they leave space for imagination. Instead of painting nature in a very detailed or realistic way, I focus more on mood and feeling. For me, flowers are more than just flowers. They can stand for vulnerability, longing, change, beauty and the passing of time.


In my paintings, I like to balance softness with simplicity. I often work with warm colors, subtle textures and natural tones to create depth and atmosphere. I am interested in how something quiet and minimal can still hold emotion and meaning.


At the heart of my work is a wish to slow down and notice the small things that are often overlooked. My paintings invite the viewer to pause, reflect and find beauty in fragile and fleeting moments.

Slow Dreams is about dreaming. Dreaming about the future, about all the beauty that is still to come. But not the quick dreams, those fleeting short-term wishes. It’s about the slow daydreams you have when you’re outside, truly taking in your surroundings, the sky, the birds, the flowers. Finding a sense of calm where your mind can be still. To dream slowly, that’s something I want to do every day. She’s still available ?

This technique of soft fading invites me to pause. It asks me to really look at what is here, and to notice what is already slipping away. Nothing stays the same. Edges blur, colors dissolve, moments pass. And in that quiet dissolving, I become more aware of the present. It feels like holding something gently, without trying to keep it. Allowing it to exist, just as it is, knowing it will change. There’s a kind of peace in that. In accepting that beauty is often temporary, and that its fleeting nature is exactly what makes it meaningful. Through this process, I’m learning to slow down, to be more present and to find softness in the in-between.

Another pin on the map, in America again! It’s still hard to really realize where my work ends up. I’m just here in my studio, and somewhere across the world it’s hanging on someone’s wall. My dad always says: “the one who keeps going, wins.” So I’ll keep going??? Curious where the next will go to?

One of my favorites, A Gentle Delay. This piece felt different while I was making it. There was no rush to finish it, no pressure to move fast. I found myself slowing down and taking more time with each layer and each flower. Not because it had to be perfect, but because it felt right to stay in the process a bit longer. Also because of the urge to add the orange tones into the collection, but they are quite difficult to create. ‘A Gentle Delay’ is about that moment of pause, when you don’t push forward immediately, but allow something to take the time it needs. It is still available ?❤️

Lately, I’ve been feeling drawn to the more red and pink colors for this collection. But I felt something was missing and I know now I needed to add a few more warm orange tones into this collection. Soft terracotta, warm sunset shades… Just to bring in a little more warmth, depth and glow. I love how color can completely shift the feeling of a painting. And I think these tones are slowly finding their place in this collection ?

While painting my new collection, I notice that I have improved a number of things compared to last time. And actually, it is all related to why I started doing this in the first place, the intention to slow down. I experience more peace during the whole process because I have done it before, and as a result, I have more self-confidence.??

I don’t have a fancy cool atelier, but I don’t mind. I have a nice room in my house where I can paint and it’s practical to be able to stay at home. Of course I dream big and would looove a big atelier with al the space and light through the windows but everything starts small?

I’m trying to figure out what my next collection will look like. Something like this? I still want to work with the pigments, but too much collor isnt the right direction. So thats why I tried this flower in the same collor. What do you think?

It’s difficult to decide on what to paint in my next collection because I want to do the same but also a bit different. But I don’t want it to be too different because I scared to lose this style too much which I am really enjoying. And I want to stick to something for a longer time to slowly evaluate to something different that arises from this works. I think that in that way I take the time to learn more from what these paintings have to offer ?

Unfortunately I don’t have a big white wall to hang my work so this little piece of wall has to do it? I love looking at al the work Ive already made and it inspires me for my next works! But also for practical reasons I hang them up immediately after finishing it so I can safely dry??

I am so excited!! The last steps before my collection comes online! Today I will be varnishing and signing, and the rest of the week I will be photographing my work so my collectors can get a clear image how my paintings look! ??

I’ve decided to, from now on, sign my paintings on the front. Really really hesitated because I actually think it is nicer when a signing isn’t interrupting the image. But… I know if I want to take myself seriously as a painter I need to sign the front. So.. big and terrifying decision but I am happy I made it!

First a layer of softpastels spread out with terpentine, then erasing it with a cloth with terpentine. So simple yet such a beautiful effect. I love the clean and calm atmosphere it creates #curatedeye
